Professional Requirements for Security Positions

To join the Apex Global Security team, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

General Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Age Criteria: Unarmed Security Positions must be at least 18 years old. Armed Security Positions must be at least 21 years old.

• No felony convictions.

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English clearly.

• Must have a current AZ DPS-issued unarmed or armed guard permit.

• Must have a reliable vehicle (no ride-sharing services or family drivers).

• Must be able to work as part of a team.

• Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and specific geographical areas as needed.

Physical & Technical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs for up to 8 hours.

• Must have a working smartphone (Android or iPhone).

• Ability to generate reports in MS Word format.

 Guards & Bodyguards:

• Must pass a driver’s history check.

• Must pass a drug test.

Applicants are responsible for the costs associated with background checks, drug screenings, and driver's history reviews. These evaluations are essential to ensure that all team members meet the high standards of trustworthiness, dependability, and professionalism upheld by Apex Global Security. To support our employees, we offer reimbursement for these expenses after 180 days of continuous employment.
